About the Event
The Utah Concealed Firearms Permit (CFP) Classroom Course is a comprehensive, classroom-only program designed to provide individuals aged 18 and above with the essential knowledge and legal understanding required to obtain a Utah Concealed Firearms Permit. This course emphasizes the legal and theoretical aspects of concealed carry and no requirement neccessary to engage in live firearms training.
Course Objectives:
- Firearm Safety Fundamentals: Learn and internalize the foundational principles of firearm safety, with a focus on safe handling practices, storage, and transportation.
- Utah Firearm Laws: Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Utah's specific firearm laws and regulations, including concealed carry statutes, prohibited areas, and legal responsibilities.
- Use of Force Ethics: Explore the ethical considerations and moral responsibilities related to the use of deadly force in self-defense situations.
- Self-Defense Strategies: Develop a comprehensive understanding of self-defense strategies, including conflict avoidance, de-escalation techniques, and response protocols.
- Permit Application Process: Navigate the Utah Concealed Firearms Permit application process, including required documentation and eligibility criteria.

Who Should Attend: This course is suitable for individuals aged 18 and above who meet the legal eligibility requirements for concealed carry in Utah and prefer to focus solely on the legal and theoretical aspects of concealed carry. It is especially valuable for those who may have limited experience with firearms but still wish to obtain a Utah Concealed Firearms Permit.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion, which can be submitted as part of their application for a Utah Concealed Firearms Permit.
